Making your latte, working with the motto "just say yes," dealing with the hobos, the clueless, the regulars, and amazing(ly dumb) customers. I'm your starbucks barista.

I'm so excited about this I'm going to throw a party - a TEA PARTY!

Yey for a new tea beverages! Here’s what we got:

Apple Chai Infusion & Berry Chai Infusion.  These have the regular pumps of chai and then steamed apple juice or berry currant juice.  Don’t you love how their called infusion - makes it sounds way more intricate and exciting.

Here are the special tea-mistos (tea bag+hot water+steamed milk) made with the new tazo full-leaf tea bags:

Black Tea Latte. black tea misto + classic syrup.  This can also be done iced

London Fog Tea Latte. earl grey misto + vanilla syrup.  Before now when it is wasn’t officially a starbucks drink, people had been ordering it.

Vanilla rooibos tea latte.  vanilla rooibos misto + classic syrup (not vanilla).  oh, and rooibos is pronounced “roy-boss”

Our Green Tea Latte is also changing.  Classic syrup is replacing the melon syrup, and the matcha powder is going to be steamed along with the milk.

what’s the downside to this tea-tastic beverage platform?

no more melon!  Can you believe it?! My favorite part of the green tea latte was the melon syrup, and now we’re replacing it with the classic sweetener syrup.  So many customers (or rather other partners) are going to be totally bummed to hear that they can no longer have their iced melon passion teas/tea lemonades.  It seems crazy to get rid of it since it seems that we go through a bottle of melon syrup much faster than we go through toffee nut, raspberry,  or SF carmel/cinnamon dolce.

Because I’ve been taking some time off work, I haven’t been able to try ANY of these drinks!  How are they?

The madness starts tomorrow!
