Our music automatically repeats like every 5 hours or so, but today I heard this song 5 times. I’m a big fan of all thing bossa nova/Jobim, so I’m all about singing along.
I handed someone an americano, and he says “Your tips not good enough?” I gave him a look because I had no idea what he was talking about, and then he said “baristas have to sing now to get tips?” I wasn’t sure if he was a jerk telling me to shut up or a nice guy trying to make a joke. I’m pretty sure it was a latter because he went back to the register to put an extra dollar in our tip jar :)
